# Filtering the Report

There are several ways you can adjust what you see on the various report pages.

Report objects are generally dynamic and via in-built relationships they will filter corresponding data and objects on the report.

Other options are **Slicers **and **Filters**.

***Slicers ****are dropdowns that allow you to quickly filter the report results. Slicers may allow you to pick more than one option. Picking items from a Slicer may impact what options are available in other slicers.*

# Charts & Tables

**Hovering the mouse over the graph, you will see an additional menu. Important! **Some of the features may be available depending on the chart.

# Other Report Basics

Power BI employs an alternative data source connection and does not make use of any filters or selected DataSets within DataShed5. Only active Slicers and Filters can be employed to filter the Power BI reports.

Data is automatically refreshed on a daily basis.

It's important to understand that the default report has been set up for the standard MDS, and any client customizations, including data modifications, have not been incorporated or factored in.

We highly value any feedback, so kindly share your suggestions and any observed issues with the [maxgeo](https://SERVICEDESK.MAXGEO.COM) [Service Desk](https://SERVICEDESK.MAXGEO.COM). Your input is greatly appreciated.

At present, an Export option is not available. To produce visualizations or reports, utilize the options outlined in the subsequent section of this slide.

To generate output of the current report page, employ the print option located in the top left-hand corner.

Opting for Landscape orientation is advisable. Alternatively, standard screen capture tools can be utilized to capture screenshots once the relevant Slicers and Filters have been chosen for use in emails or reports.
