Hi and welcome to this quick walk through of the datashed5 QAQC paginated report.
00:00:12
You can access this report right from your datashed 5 dashboard via the main navigation menu.
00:00:19
At the top of the screen you'll see a handy set of parameters. These help you philtre and target exactly the data you need.
00:00:30
You can start by selecting one or more data sets.
00:00:42
Then choose a lab code.
00:00:49
One of the most important things to set is your start date And end date. Just a heads up, the broader the date range, the longer the report might take to load So keep that in mind for performance.
00:01:10
You can also choose one or multiple batches.
00:01:23
Next under sample table type you'll find options like Drill hole, Hyperspectral water, Face and Point standard.
00:01:44
Then in the elements section you'll see all the available elements in your database.
00:01:55
And don't forget the compare 2 drop down. It helps you view comparative data.
00:02:07
Once you've got the key parameters selected, Click View report.
00:02:12
The system will now pull everything together and format it nicely for you.
00:02:27
And here we go. The report appears at the bottom of the screen.
00:02:36
You can scroll through it using the navigation controls next page, previous page, last page or even jump directly to a page by typing the number in.
00:02:51
Want a bigger view? Just click hide parameters to give the report more screen space.
00:03:03
Need to export the report? You've got plenty of options.
00:03:08
Excel, PDF accessible, PDF, CSV, powerpoint, Word, web archive.
00:03:28
You can also adjust the view. The default is a web layout But you can switch to print layout for a classic one page at a time preview.
00:03:49
In Page settings you can tweak the page size and orientation And under file navigation select print and preview to bring up a proper print preview. You can either print straight from there or export to PDF.
00:04:13
If you choose to export to Microsoft Word, the formatted report will be saved right to your downloads folder.
00:04:20
And that's it. Thanks so much for watching and happy reporting with datashed 5.
