This guide is essential for Power BI users, outlining how to refresh dashboards and reports effectively. It explains the "Refresh DataSet" button and how to check the last refresh time, helping users keep data current. By following these steps, users can ensure their reports reflect the latest information for better decision-making and streamlined data management.

> ✅ The** Data Refresh** works for Power BI Dashboards and Reports except the Paginated Reports. The Paginated Reports have a live link to the database, so will always report on the latest data in DataShed5.

DataShed5 Power BI Dashboards and Reports now have a "**Refresh DataSet**" button. This will force the Dashboard to refresh its datasource.
To perform this, click the "**Refresh DataSets**" button.
The below message will display informing you this may take some time to complete.

Click "**OK**" to proceed or "**Cancel**".
You will then be informed the refresh has been started successfully.

Click "**OK**"
To check the last time the PBI Dashboard had a data refresh, click "**Help**"
This displays the Server name, Database name and the Last Refresh Date and Time.
