## **Causes:**

Cause 1: Outdated ODBC Driver. (see Resolution 1)

Cause 2: Microsoft Access error after an application update. (see Resolution 2)

Cause 3: Microsoft Access updating Trust Center setting post update. (see Resolution 3)

## **Resolutions: **

Resolution 1: Update ODBC Drive used by Datashed4 to “Microsoft ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server”

[Download ODBC Driver for SQL Server - ODBC Driver for SQL Server | Microsoft Learn](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/connect/odbc/download-odbc-driver-for-sql-server?view=sql-server-ver16#version-17)

Resolution 2: Roll Microsoft Access to a prior build. You may need your IT provider to perform this action.

Resolution 3: Update the macro settings to “Enable all macros” in Microsoft Access Trust Center settings

[Enable or disable macros in Microsoft 365 files - Microsoft Support](https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/office/enable-or-disable-macros-in-microsoft-365-files-12b036fd-d140-4e74-b45e-16fed1a7e5c6)
