**Issue:** LeaseControl throws an error when launched *“Error 75 occurred in module MUtils:LoadDataIntoFile. Error Description is as follows: Path/File access error.”*

**Cause:** insufficient write privileges on the LeaseControl root folder

**Resolution:** Reinstall LeaseControl and then run for first time “as Admininstrator”.

OR

Update the folder security permissions on folder “*C:\Program Files (x86)\Maxwell GeoServices\LeaseControl 1.8.1*” to allow logged in user modify. Modify can be removed after first successful launch.
