<u>**Problem:**</u>

1. Systems that use data contained in the LeaseControl database (e.g. Report Designer, GIS, accounting systems, SQL Reports, etc.) stopped working at time of upgrade.
2. Systems that auto-fill LeaseControl data (e.g. customised tables) stopped working at time of upgrade.

<u>**Cause:**</u>

1. and 2. Some enhancements contained in upgrades require new tables or views, and therefore existing tables and views may be retired.  Any system that uses these tables or views to populate data (to or from LeaseControl) therefore experience error.

<u>**Solution:**</u>

LeaseControl uses a SQL database, making it accessible to your company's Database Administrators and IT personnel to create connections with various other databases and systems.

1. and 2. Please refer to the related articles.  If you had skipped some upgrades (e.g. going from V1.6.1 to V1.8.0) you may find you need to refer to multiple articles.
