**Symptom:**

1. A field (associated with a dropdown menu or library) that previously contained a value is now empty - refer **Cause 1**.
2. A compulsory field in a library is now empty - refer **Cause 1**.
3. A dropdown menu contains an empty value (i.e. there is nothing written there - it's just a blanks space) - refer **Cause 1**.

**Cause:**

1. Someone has deleted the description from this library and bypassed validation processes, noting:
 1. If the library is a list of Contacts it is the Display Name that has been deleted - refer **Solution 1**.
 2. If the library is a list of Leases it is the Lease ID that has been deleted - refer **Solution 2**.
 3. If the library is a list of Agreements it is the Agreement ID that has been deleted - refer **Solution 3**.
 4. If the library is a list of Projects it is the Project Name that has been deleted - refer **Solution 4**.
 5. If the library relates to periods (Days, Business Days, Months), Land Tenure or Parties Status (Active, Inactive), Filter or Operator in Configurations or round rules (Up, Down, Nearest) - non-editable libraries apply - refer **Solution 5**.
 6. If none of the above apply, Editable Libraries apply - refer **Solution 6**.
