<u>**Problem:**</u>

The following error is generated when trying to open LeaseControl: "You have reached the expiry date for this license key."

<u>**Cause:**</u>

License Keys are not perpetual, rather they expire with the date coincident to lapsing of maintenance periods, or switching between different licensing.  Therefore, potential causes (not exclusively) include:

1. Your annual fees are outstanding.
2. You have replacement License Key(s) available for use.
3. Your License Key has been extended, however your License hasn't updated.

<u>**Solution:**</u>

1. Please pay all outstanding fees, and contact [sales@maxgeo.com](mailto:leasecontrol@maxgeo.com) to arrange reinstatement of your License.
2. Please contact [sales@maxgeo.com](mailto:leasecontrol@maxgeo.com) to obtain a copy of a current License Key.
3. Please refer to the attached article [CopyMinder is not updating with the latest License details](https://maxgeo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SMAR/pages/1066434568).
