**Problem:**
The dates that are auto-generated in the "Expenditure" Completion Process (first screen) are incorrect*. *This error may extend to the "Commitment" field.
**Cause:**
(1) There is no history from which to determine the applicable dates. This applies where there is no entries in the "Financials" : "Expenditure" tab.
(2) There are entries within the "Financials" : "Expenditure" tab that are being taken as forward commitments, rather than reported expenditure. This applies where there is no date in the "Expenditure Lodged" column against 1 or more entries, and will impact on the data contained with the "Commitment" field of the Expenditure Completion Process.
(3) Your expected dates do not match the configuration of LeaseControl features however supplementing the Expenditure Completion Process with another feature will overcome this difference.
**Solution:**
(1) Once you complete the Expenditure Completion Process for the first time (or otherwise enter data correctly into the "Financials" : "Expenditure" tab) thereafter the pre-empted dates will align with this latest entry.
(2) Forward commitments can be entered into the "Financials": "Expenditure" tab as of V1.8.0. LeaseControl will consider it a forward commitment (rather than a commitment you have reported on) if the "Expenditure Lodged" field is left blank. (Refer below image for location of this feature). *For further information, please refer to the HelpManual, specifically the section "Leases Module": "Lease Functionality": "Financial Functionality". (3) If your report does not consist of a 12month period, starting from the date following the latest "Expenditure To" entry, the pre-empted dates will not be aligned. In known instances, such regions utilise the abovementioned forward commitment capture (refer Solution 2), which facilitates pre-empting the correct details.
