<u>**Problem:**</u>

I need to check how a Miscellaneous Action was configured, as it's not behaving as I thought it would.

<u>**Important Information:**</u>

<span style="color: #bf2600">This requires accessing the SQL Database.  Only person with appropriate experience and training should be accessing the SQL Database, and no data should be edited under any circumstances from within the SQL Database, as it bypasses protocols imbedded in the software therefore giving rise to data conflicts.</span>

<u>**Solution:**</u>

1. From within the LeaseControl software, check the configuration ID for the Miscellaneous Action in question. (From within the relevant Lease or Agreement record, go to the Action tab, and unhide the column "Config ID").
2. From within the LeaseControl SQL Database, view the table dbo.LMS_ACTCFG_ActionConfiguration and filter for the relevant "Config ID" (correlates to the column ACTCFG_ID).
  - For the repetition, refer to clumn ACTCFG_FrequencyOfReminder, noting that "NULL" means no repeat.

<u>**Additional Information:**</u>

- <u>*How do I check the Action configuration ID?*</u> From within the LeaseControl software, open the relevant Lease or Agreement record, go to the "Actions" tab and unhide the column "Config ID".
  - To unhide a column: Right-click on the grid header (a "grid" is a table of data) and select "unhide", which opens a new window.  Select the relevant column from the dropdown menu, click "Show" to unhide it, then "OK" to close the window.
- How do I tell what SQL Server / SQL Database I am using?
- What is a miscellaneous Action?
- How can I tell an Action is a miscellaneous Action?
- <u>*If the data is wrong, how do I fix it?*</u> From within the LeaseControl software, simply delete the Miscellaneous Action, and create a new Miscellaneous Action with the correct configuration.  When in doubt, take a screen shot and send it to a colleague for verification.
