<u>**Objective:**</u>

- Reset a single grid - Refer **Instruction Step 1**.
- Reset multiple grids - Refer **Instruction Step 2**.

<u>**Before you Start:**</u>

- Grids can be tailored by grouping, ordering and filtering for specific data, reordering / hiding / unhiding columns or editing defaults in 'Program Defaults'.  Tailoring a grid causes a memory for that grid to be created, thus your tailoring is remembered when you move between screens / grids.
- "Resetting" a grid means that you clear the memory, and return the grid to the default settings.
- For avoidance of doubt:
  - Tailoring does not include customisations (e.g. creation of new grids specifically for your company).  Thus resetting grids won't interfere with customisations.
  - "Refresh" and "Reset" are two different things.  These instructions relate to "Reset".

<u>**Instruction:**</u>

From within the LeaseControl software:

1. <u>*To reset a single grid:*</u>  Right-click on the header row and select "Reset".  If you don't have this option, try clicking just above the header row and then selecting "Reset".
2. <u>*To reset multiple grids simultaneously*</u>:  From your toolbar select "Settings" then "Program Defaults".  A new screen will open.  Click on the button "Grid Reset" on the bottom left.
  - If you find that a grid did not reset by this means, follow **Instructions Step 1** instead for this grid, and please advise the LeaseControl team via [servicedesk.maxgeo.com](http://servicedesk.maxgeo.com).
