**TROUBLESHOOTING**

<span style="color: #bf2600">The SQL database should only be accessed by qualified, experienced SQL professionals.  No changes should be made to standard database structure, application structure, scripts, stored procedures etc. without Maxwell GeoServices verification.</span>

1. From the Tools Menu select Refresh then try to open the Lease Record again
2. Use the Find Tool to locate the Lease Record  - accessible via the Tools Menu or CTRL+F - and try variations of the Lease ID (e.g. E80/1234 v E 80/1234)
3. Use the Lease Browser - accessible from the Lease Menu - and try looking through the relevant Locality for a similar Lease ID (e.g. E8/1234 instead of E80/1234)
4. Consider the applicability of it being entered as an Agreement, Reporting Group or other Record and conduct the relevant search
5. (requires Administrator password) From System Functions - available from the Settings Menu - check the list of archived Lease Records for your missing Lease
6. (requires SQL Management Studio) From Database Manager - available from the Settings Menu - check the SQL Server (incl. Computer where applicable) and Database name that the current connection is using, and use SQL Management Studio to connect to that specific Database.  Search for the Lease Record in each of the following:
  1. Table dbo.LMS_TENEMT_Tenement in field TENEMT_ID.  If the Lease Record is here, either:
    1. The User is not looking at the same database as you - correct the link from the software or check the other database
    2. The Lease has been archived - for assistance with Restoring Lease Records refer Archiving, Restoring and Deleting Records
  2. Table dbo.LMS_TENEMT_Tenement in field TENEMT_TenementName
    1. If the Lease Record is here the User needs to search the Lease Name, not the Lease ID - refer Searching for a Lease Record noting they have to search via Lease Name
  3. Table dbo.LMS_AGRMNT_Agreement in field AGRMNT_Number
    1. If the Lease Record is here, the User is searching the wrong module - refer Searching for an Agreement Record noting they have to search via Agreement Number
  4. Table dbo.LMS_AGRMNT_Agreement in field AGRMNT_Name
    1. If the Lease Record is here, the User is searching the wrong module - refer Searching for an Agreement Record noting they have to search via Agreement Name
  5. Table dbo.LMS_DBAUDT_DatabaseAudit in field DBAUDT_OldValue where DBAUDT_FieldName is TENEMT_ID
    1. If the Lease Record is here, look at the corresponding DBAUDT_NewValue  - the Lease Record has been renamed and the DBAUDT_NewValue is the new Lease ID - refer Renaming Records.
  6. Table dbo.LMS_DBAUDT_DatabaseAudit in field DBAUDT_NewValue where DBAUDT_FieldName is TENEMT_ID
    1. If the Lease Record is here, it means it did exist and now it doesn't.  Supply a copy of this database to servicedesk.maxgeo.com to determine how it was deleted.
