**Problem:**

1. I am receiving mutliple email alerts - each for the same thing.

**Cause:**

1. You have multiple versions of the LeaseControl database. Each of these is sending email alerts.

**Solution:**

1. Either: **(a)** remove redundant LeaseControl databases from the SQL Server; or **(b)** if you require these, open the database in the software and turn Email Alerts 'off'; or **(c)** if these email alerts are needed (e.g. if you are testing the email alert system) advise the recipients that this is not an error.

**Further Information:**

- *What are Email Alerts?* Email Alerts are a facility within LeaseControl that permits emails to be send automatically in relation to specific Actions, as specific intervals. These are sent directly from your databaes, therefore the software does not need to be open for these to be sent. There is a complimentary facility for Outlook (a LeaseControl Add-in) that permits an email recipient to complete these Actions from Outlook. Please contact [servicedesk.maxgeo.com](http://servicedesk.maxgeo.com)[ ](mailto:leasecontrol@maxgeo.com)for further information.
- *How do I turn Email Alerts off?*
