[0:00:03] Welcome to the training series for LogChief Lite, a customizable data logging application designed for use on laptops and tablets. LogChief Lite simplifies the collection and management of field data associated with drilling and sampling, synchronizing directly into your Data shed 5 database. In these videos, we'll walk you through every feature of LogChief Lite, ensuring you can utilize the software to its fullest potential.

To get started with LogChief Lite, navigate to the URL provided by maxgeo and click on the play icon to open the log in page. Enter the username and password assigned to you by maxgeo and click on the play icon. Forgotten passwords can be reset via the Data shed 5 log in page.

[0:00:48] Upon your first successful login, you will be prompted to select your database from the dropdown menu. Click the save icon once you've made your selection. This will take you to the Logging Menu, where you can begin working with LogChief Lite. Your database settings will be remembered for future log ins, making it easier to start your work each time.

[0:01:14] By installing the application, a desktop icon will be created, and you can use LogChief Lite in remote areas and log data offline. 

On your preferred browser, click on the install application icon located in the URL bar. A popup box will appear asking your permission to install, click on install. The application will automatically download and install as well as create a desktop shortcut. The application will open and is now ready for use.
