[0:00:05] The Manage Templates page in LogChief Lite is where you manage your logging templates, and is only accessible by users with admin rights. To access it, click on Templates in the main menu. This page displays all existing logging templates, and allows administrators to create, edit, or delete templates as needed.

[0:00:25] Clicking on a Main template type, the view expands to display the logging templates under that type. By clicking on a template, the grid will display the tables belonging to that template.

[0:00:39] Here you can edit the Tab Names and rearrange the tab orders by clicking and dragging the cluster of small white dots on the left of the row. Tables can be deleted by clicking the trash can on the right.

[0:00:50] Additional tables can be added to the template by clicking the Edit Template button. On this page you can edit the existing template name and description and add tables by clicking on the plus symbol.

[0:01:00] Please note that if you would like to use the Sample Sheet functionality, LG Lite DH Sampling table must be added to the template.

[0:01:09] In the left-hand tree view, with the logging template expanded, click on a table name. The grid will now display the fields that will be logged to and their information relating to the database.

[0:01:20] Column orders can be rearranged and set as visible or mandatory, and default values can be assigned to certain fields.

[0:01:29] The Reference Table column refers to the database library where the codes will be fetched from the master MDS. This filter can be edited by the admin user accordingly. Fields with column constraints will have their constraints displayed in the row. Certain table fields from the master MDS, such as Interval Length, is a computed field and its formula will be displayed.

[0:01:49] Any changes to the template tables must be saved by clicking on the save icon. Changes made can also be reverted by clicking on the Discard Changes icon.
