In the Drill Logs form, element from tblAssayFlat will be included in the Drill Log if it is in the format *_ppb, *_ppm or *_pct

For example, if you added an element Jen_ppm to the tblAssayFlat table, the Element drop down list in Drill Logs extension would automatically be populated.

However, if you called it Jen_FA, it would not be included in the Element drop down list.
