### **Single Spreadsheet – multiple tabs:**

Individual import layouts are required to be created for each of the tabs/destinations:

In the example above, layouts were created for:

- Collar
- MetaData
- Survey
- Samples/SamplesQC/Standards*
- Lithology
- Alteration
- Minerals
- Veins
- GeotechRMR
- MagSus
- SpecGrav

*See “*Single Worksheet – multiple destinations* “ below.

Them a single Multifile import layout “DDH Drilling Import – Excel” was created:

Assuming all data is clean it will load into each of the destination tables set up in the individual import layouts, from the source worksheets (“SourceItem”) set up above.

Any errors encountered will stop the Multifile import and the issue can be resolved in the import buffer immediately and import re-started (from where it left off); or the errors can be copied into a new spreadsheet for later remediation, the buffer cleared (manually) and import commences from the next tab in order onwards.

Once all tabs have been loaded, the file will be moved into the “Loaded” directory.

An additional enhancement has been to allow data to be loaded into different destinations from a single worksheet. This could be for combined geology as logged but loaded into the separate lithology, alteration, minerals and veins tables; or as in the example shown **below**, a single sample sheet being loaded into 3 tables: tblDHSamp, tblDHSampQC and tblStandardSamp.

The sampling data has been collected in a single worksheet “Samples”.

Using the mutlifile import layout set up as above:

Note that a separate samling import layout can be set up if the samlping is done at a different time to the more specific logging of data (in this case called “Excel Sampling Core Farm Import”):

Whichever case, the worksheet reloads each times and deletes the non-specific data for the destination table, and then loads into the relevant table(s):

“Excel Samples” import layout into tblDHSamp:

“Excel Samples QC” import layout into tblDHSampQC:

“Excel Samples STD” import layout into tblStandardSamp:
