Now that you have successfully installed Logchief Lite, let's dive into the process of creating templates. Templates are essential for standardizing and streamlining your geological logging process.

## Step 1: Locate Templates

1. In the Options Menu, click on **Templates**.

## Step 2: Add a New Template

2. Once in the Templates section, locate and click on **Add New Template**.

## Step 3: Template Configuration

3. Choose the template type and provide the following information:
  - **Template Name:** Assign a name to your template.
  - **Template Description:** Provide a brief description of the template.

## Step 4: Add Tables to the Template

4. Click the **Plus (+)** sign to add a table. Choose a table from the **Table Name** dropdown menu.
5. If additional tables are required (e.g., for QAQC with sampling), click the **Plus (+)** sign again and choose the relevant table.

## Step 5: Delete a Table

6. To delete a table, click the **Trash Icon** located on the right-hand side of the table entry.

## Step 6: Submission

7. Once you have configured your template and added the necessary tables, click **Submit** to save your template.
