1. **Locate Templates in the Navigation Bar:**
  - Access the "Templates" option from the navigation bar within the LogCHief software.
2. **Select Downhole or Point:**
  - Choose between "Downhole" or "Point" based on your specific requirements.
3. **Select Drilling Profile Template:**
  - Within the chosen category, select the "Drilling Profile" template.
4. **Select LGLiteDHSampling:**
  - Choose the "LGLiteDHSampling" option, as the sampling table associated with it is required to apply the QC policy.
5. **Access QC Configurations:**
  - Click on the cog icon at the top, leading to "DEFAULTS/QC Configurations."
6. **Navigate to QC Policies:**
  - Within the configurations, locate and click on the "QC Policies" tab on the right-hand side.
7. **Add a New QC Policy:**
  - Click on the plus icon (+) on the far right-hand side to add a new QC policy.
8. **Complete Mandatory Fields:**
  - Fill out all the mandatory fields for the QC policy as prompted.
9. **Submit:**
  - After completing the necessary information, press the "SUBMIT" button to save and apply the newly created QC policy.

These steps guide you through the process of creating and applying a QC policy in LogCHief for drilling profiles, ensuring that the necessary sampling table is associated with the policy.
