**Issue:**

Error on opening QAQCr

```sql
Component 'mscomct2.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid
```

**Cause:**

Newer version of Windows (WinServer2022,2025) do not have the required files to run QAQCr app

**Resolution: ** 

Look for mscomct2.ocx in the following:   C:\Windows\SysWOW64 directory

If not present: Copy from a known working device then file to the above folder

Register the component

Right click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator

Type the following

```
CD C:\Windows\SysWOW64 directory
```

Press Enter

Next Type

```sql
regsvr32 "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\mscomct2.ocx"
```

A popup message appears once we have completed the above steps, then click on the OK button.
